If you get a Turbo Duo, you don't need the 3.0 card.  It's already in the Duo itself, you just turn it on, without a card in the slot.  However, some games like Brandish & Popful Mail make use of the Arcade Card, so you might just want to get a PC Engine Duo, if there aren't any US hucard games you want to play.  PC Engine Duo's I think are usually cheaper then the Turbo Duo, so, that might be a good way to go.

Go for a PC Engine Duo R or RX since they are more durable and around the same price.

Yeah, a Duo R or RX is what I wanted the most. What's the difference between the two?

How much will one of these cost? Where can I get one? I don't like bidding, so Ebay is  not a very good option. Unless it has a buy it now button. Smiley

Duo-R is a rebuilt Duo with some of the hardware moved around to prevent heat problems. Duo-RX is a Duo-R with a built-in ACD and it comes with a 6 button controller.

It comes with a built in ACD???  That's awesome, I'm not sure if I remember hearing that, it's like the ultimate machine, all they'd need to do is make is Super Grafx compatible, & it'd be totally set.

PC Engine Duo RX's do not have a built-in Arcade Card. I've heard people say this before but I've heard owners say that there isn't a built in arcade card. Would be excellent if they did Sad .

Hrm...well that was what I was always told as well. Oh well. I don't own one, so I am just going on what others have said. At least the part about the 6 button controller is right. Smiley

Yeah I actually have the RX six button pad. It's really nice, but I wish the buttons were arcade style where they are indented down in the middle, instead of pushed up so they feel like skittles. It's not bad really, i just prefer arcade style. I really want to try out this pad for some arcade fighting games, it works great for SF2'.

Soo.... I guess I'll need an Arcade Card in order to play some of the Falcom titles? What's an arcade card? How is it used? What does it cost, etc?

Any ideas where I can get a Duo R or RX?

I don't think there's any Falcom title that "needs" the Arcade Card.  I just know that Brandish & Popful Mail are enhanced by it.  As for where to get these things, I usually get everything on ebay, but I guess you can't do that.  There are 2 Arcade Cards.  One called the Arcade Card Pro which is used for the regular PC Engine(orTurbo Grafx with a converter), & there's the Arcade Card Duo, which is used for the Duo's.  I have the Pro, & it can be used on the Duo's, as well, but if you are getting a Duo, rather then a PC Engine & CD Rom, then you might as well, just get the Duo card, rather then the Pro.  The Arcade card, is 18 megabits of ram for the PC Engine to load from, with the Duo version, being 16 megabits(the Duo's have a built in 2 megabits).  I hope this isn't all confusing.
